"Decent classes, just not worth the monthly cost for me"
I used obé for a few months, it was fine. The classes were easy to follow and the instructors seemed good, but nothing really stood out enough to make me feel like I needed to keep the subscription going.
I’ve found cheaper apps and even some free workout videos that work just as well for what I need. It’s not a bad service at all, it just didn’t feel worth the monthly price for me, so I cancelled before the next charge.

"The instructors just weren’t a good fit for me"
I really wanted to like the classes, but the instructors just didn’t work for me. The lessons felt kind of rushed, and at times the teaching style came across a little awkward, so I had a hard time staying engaged. I reached out to support and they were nice enough, basically saying something like, “we’re sorry it wasn’t the experience you hoped for” and that they’d pass along the feedback. Overall, it just wasn’t the right fit for how I learn...

"Cancellation turned into a billing mess"
I cancelled my account and still got charged afterward. Tried to sort it out, but dealing with these billing geniuses was just annoying and way more hassle than it should’ve been

"Not gonna lie, the app keeps freezing mid-workout"
Not gonna lie, it’s been frustrating trying to get through a workout when the stream keeps dropping and the app randomly crashes. It really throws off the whole session.

"Not quite the motivation I was hoping for"
I gave the workouts a try and stuck with them for a bit, but I didn’t really notice much progress. It wasn’t a bad experience overall, it just didn’t keep me as motivated or show the results I was hoping for

"Misleading promise of workout variety"
I was expecting more variety based on the way it’s described, but it feels misleading. It’s basically the same workouts every week, which gets boring fast. I wouldn’t mind repetition if they were upfront about it, but the wording made it sound like there would be a lot more to choose from

"Didn’t really fit my schedule"
I gave obé Fitness a try for a few weeks, but the timing just wasn’t great for me. A lot of the live classes I was interested in happened while I was working or dealing with kid stuff, so I kept missing them. I know the replays are available, but once I was doing those, it kind of felt like there wasn’t a real person there with me, which was the whole reason I wanted live classes in the first place. I wish they had more flexible live options. Ended up cancelling
